Brushes.

Our brushes have had their largest overhaul yet with the new Procreate Library. Express your creativity with over 150 hand-crafted brushes, across 18 brush sets, from traditional painting and drawing tools, like gouache, oils, watercolor, and inking, through to styles like comic, lettering, and street art.

Brushes. Sorted.

Build your own custom brush libraries and fill them with the brushes you need for a project or workflow. And with brush search and customisable brush set icons and brush thumbnails, it’s now quicker than ever to find the perfect brush.

Got questions?

Who made the new brush collection?

You may have seen that renowned brush maker Kyle T. Webster joined us in 2024 as a brush developer. He has collaborated closely with the rest of the team to refine the final collection of 18 Brush Sets and over 150 brushes. We had to make some tough choices about what to include, but we think we did pretty well. We're looking forward to hearing what you think.

Where will I find my current brushes?

We'll start you off with two libraries: the new Procreate Library and the Classic Library. The Classic Library will house all your existing brushes, including the current Procreate collection and any custom brushes you've made or imported from our thriving brushmaking community.

When will it be released?

We don't have a definitive date yet. Most of the update is ready; however, we won't release until we are confident that your brushes and artworks will copy over perfectly. Testing and quality assurance on all the variations takes time to do properly, as we never know what will be uncovered. We do know that it's too important to rush or skip details and edge cases.

Finish us off.

We need your help to test our Public Not-beta.

What's a Public Not-beta? Your App Store version will be replaced by Procreate 5.4 Not-beta. This comes with risks to your existing artworks and brushes. You'll need everything backed up.
