We’re looking for a hands‑on ICT Systems & Support Specialist to help support and evolve our internal technology environment. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our people have reliable, secure and well‑managed systems so they can do their best creative work.
You’ll bring strong technical capability across end‑user support, systems and network operations, with a particular depth of experience in Apple device and endpoint administration. You’ll enjoy working closely with colleagues, solving problems, and continuously improving the reliability, security and user experience of our ICT services.
The role
This role sits within our ICT team, reporting to the ICT Manager. You’ll work closely with internal staff across the business as well as external vendors and service providers, supporting day‑to‑day operations while contributing to broader ICT initiatives and improvements.
What you’ll do
- Provide reliable, people‑focused ICT support. You’ll act as a primary point of contact for staff ICT support, resolving day‑to‑day issues across hardware, software, identity and access. This includes supporting macOS, iOS/iPadOS devices, meeting room technology and AV systems, and escalating more complex issues where required.
- Own Apple device and endpoint administration. Apple platforms are central to this role. You’ll administer macOS, iOS and iPadOS devices through an MDM platform, managing enrolment, configuration, policies, security baselines and software deployment. You’ll maintain patching and OS update strategies and manage the full device lifecycle from deployment through to secure decommissioning.
- Manage identity, access and business applications. You’ll support user onboarding and offboarding, account provisioning, access management and MFA setup. You’ll administer identity, email and internal business applications, ensuring staff have the right access at the right time.
- Support systems, networks and core services. You’ll contribute to the operation and maintenance of servers, storage, backups, authentication and file services. You’ll also assist with network operations including switches, Wi‑Fi access points, VLANs and performance monitoring to ensure reliable connectivity.
- Contribute to security, projects and continuous improvement. You’ll support security operations such as endpoint protection, DNS filtering, patching and incident response. You’ll participate in ICT projects including office fit‑outs, AV deployments, upgrades and migrations, while identifying opportunities to improve reliability, security and user experience.
- Maintain documentation, assets and vendor relationships. You’ll keep ICT asset registers and licensing up to date, support purchasing workflows and vendor coordination, and create clear documentation, support guides and internal procedures to share knowledge across the team.
Required skills
- Strong Apple platform expertise. You have demonstrated experience administering macOS, iOS and iPadOS in an enterprise or managed environment, including hands‑on use of Apple MDM solutions for device and endpoint management.
- Broad technical troubleshooting capability. You’re comfortable diagnosing and resolving issues across endpoints, identity, applications, systems and networks, and you know when and how to escalate more complex incidents.
- Systems, identity and security knowledge. You have working knowledge of enterprise identity, email and access management platforms, and are familiar with modern security practices for endpoint and identity management.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills. You can explain technical concepts to non‑technical users, document processes clearly, and work collaboratively within a small team while managing competing priorities.
- An organised and methodical approach. You bring structure to your work, take ownership of outcomes, and contribute to a reliable and professional ICT function that people trust.
Bonus skills
- Experience supporting AV and meeting room technology, exposure to network configuration and Wi‑Fi optimization.
- Experience working in a creative, product or technology‑focused organisation.
What to expect in the first 6–12 months
- Complete onboarding and become familiar with our systems, tools and ways of working.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across the business.
- Take ownership of Apple device and endpoint administration.
- Contribute to improvements in reliability, security and user experience across ICT services.
- Support and deliver ICT projects that enable the business to scale effectively.
