Procreate pops up in Tokyo this April with a unique and interactive creative experience.

EventsMarch 12, 2025

Most people know Procreate through our creative art and animation applications on iPad and iPhone, or through our educational and entertaining YouTube and social media content. However, if you happen to be in Tokyo between April 3rd and April 6th, you can get to know us in person through your own unique creative Procreate experience at our first ever Procreate Pop-up event.

Remaining true to our ‘Art is for everyone’ ethos, Procreate Pop-up will be free for anyone wanting to attend and for people of all ages. There you will find iPads loaded with Procreate and Procreate Dreams for you to create on, along with our friendly team members to help you discover more about our apps and answer any questions you might have.

Acky Bright will be just one of many artists doing a LiveDraw at Procreate Pop-up.

Manga master Acky Bright and animation director Ilya Kuvshinov are just some of the exceptional guest artists who will be performing LiveDraw demonstrations over the four-day event. Perfect for anyone looking to pick up some tips whilst observing how professional artists go about constructing and creating their work.

Want to be a part of Procreate Pop-up and showcase your own art? #YouMadeThis is the perfect opportunity to exhibit your masterpieces on the 2-meter-tall LED display during the event. You can make #YouMadeThis submissions at the event or online from any part of the world.

If you’re after a Procreate Pop-up keepsake, you can print your own artwork onto one of our free tote bags at the event. Bringing digital and physical together, printing happens on-site and only takes minutes. Pre-made artwork from some of our fabulous commissioned artists will also be available. Tote bags will be limited, so we suggest getting to the Pop-up early if you have your heart set on one.

Try your hand at 3D Painting on our Procreate Pop-up robot.

Other interactive experiences include 3D Painting on an extremely cute robot 3D model created by Jarom Vogel. Or experience drawing on your face in augmented reality as you create your very own mask at the FacePaint booths. These are captured in realtime as video or an image to take home with you and share with friends.

We’d love to meet you at Procreate Pop-up, so come along to 6-32-1 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku (next to Meiji-Jingumae Station, Exit 7) between April 3rd and April 6th and say hello. To submit your #YouMadeThis artwork, see a full roster of guest artists, and discover more about this exciting event, check out popup.procreate.com
